Dear fellow alums,

The Harvard Club in Maine invites you to a fun evening at Thos. Moser on April 11. There will be time for fellowship, food and drinks, and enjoying Visions of Place, an exhibit showcasing 30 Maine artists currently on display in the Thos. Moser Freeport showroom. We will also learn about the history of Thos. Moser and past and upcoming projects at Harvard.

Thos. Moser Founder, Tom Moser, will discuss how perseverance allowed him to become a college professor despite never having finished high school, only to leave the security of the ivory tower for the life of a furniture maker. Five decades later Tom and his workshop in Auburn, Maine have designed and built furniture for homes and institutions across the world.

Over the last two decades Thos. Moser has had the privilege of designing and building furniture for a number of Harvard projects including the Gutman Library, the Kennedy School of Government, and the President’s Conference room – and most recently – Harvard Business School’s Chao Center and Klarman Hall. He would like to share these projects with the Harvard community.

Thos. Moser will provide wine, microbrews, and lite hors-d’oeuvres. There is no cost to attend this event, but please RSVP so we have a sense of how many will be attending. We hope you will join us!

When:  Wednesday, April 11, 6-8 pm

Where:  Thos. Moser Showroom, 149 Main Street, Freeport, ME 04032
