The Game!

 

 

Join your fellow alumni in celebrating the 135th playing of The Game!
This game will mark the 50th anniversary of the epic 1968 clash between the Ivy League schools,
which ended in a 29-29 tie after Harvard rallied from a 29-13 deficit in the final 42 seconds!
 
If you cannot make the trip this year to Fenway Park to support our team, the Harvard Club in Maine has the next best thing.
We continue our tradition of joining with our friends in the Yale Club of Western Maine to throw a game-day party here in Maine.
We have a nice venue and children and non-Harvard friends are welcome! Plenty of big-screen TVs to catch the action.
Cheer on the Crimson in what promises to be another football classic!

 

Date:  Saturday, November 17th, 2018

 

Time:  Doors open at 11:30 pm; kickoff is at 12:00 pm

 

Location:  Rivalries, 2nd floor, 10 Cotton Street, Portland 04101. There is ample parking on the street and in nearby lots.

 

Cost:  Free.  Voluntary contributions the day of the event to help cover costs are always appreciated.

 

RSVP:  None required.

 

Food & Drink:  Various free hot and cold hors d’oeuvres.  If you’re still hungry, you can also order (at your cost) from a full luncheon menu. Cash bar.
