Winter Outing and Gathering
The Harvard Club in Maine invites you and your family to join fellow alumni to enjoy all that winter has to offer at Pineland Farms. We hope to see old and new friends from Harvard, Yale, Princeton and Dartmouth. Come prepared for X-C skiing, sledding, snowshoeing or ice skating, and perhaps lunch and some shopping at The Market, featuring farm produce and gourmet items. Once again, Gordy Scannell (H ’75) and Kimberly Moody have invited us to gather at their home abutting Pineland for après-ski cheer! Soup, beer, wine, cheese, etc. and a cozy fire provided; feel free to bring a favorite.
Date: Sunday, February 5, 2017
Places: 1) Pineland Farms: 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester
2) Scannell/Moody home: 18 Allen Road, Pownal (for directions from Pineland click here or see below*)
Times: 1) 8 am - 5 pm: Outdoor activities at Pineland Farms. Come when you wish!
2) 3 pm - 6 pm: Open House at Scannell/Moody home.
3) 6 pm: For those wishing to linger, the Super Bowl will go on the TV! Limited seating, room to stand 
.
Cost: Discounted Pineland tickets can be purchased for $9 at the Outdoor Center on the day of the event and include all activities.
Children under 7 are free. Rentals are available (X-C skis, snowshoes, fat bikes) for an additional fee.

*Directions to the Scannell/Moody home from Pineland:
- Exit Pinelands and turn left on Morse Road
- At four-way intersection, continue straight on Freeport / Allen Road
- After entering Pownal, they are the 2nd driveway on the left
Or XC ski in off the Pownal Trail (signage will be posted on trail).
