A Virtual Tour of New England Cheese
Please join fellow alumni of the Harvard Clubs of Northern New England for
a virtual tasting of New England cheese organized by The Cheese Shop of Salem (MA).
New England is a cheese lover’s dream! The region has a long dairy tradition, many beautiful farms, a plethora of innovative cheesemakers, and SO MUCH CHEESE. This Cheeses of New England Virtual Class will discuss the region’s cheese history,
the producers of today, and of course, the cheese that brings us so much joy. Come join us to celebrate New England’s dairy riches!
To participate, you will purchase a Tasting Kit that serves 1-2 people and contains 5 cheeses, 1 box crackers and a tasting menu.
You will also receive a list of wine pairings to go with the Tasting Kitchen to be purchased by you (optional).
Following the lesson, there will be a session for participants to mingle virtually (optional).
When: Friday, March 7, 2025 6:30PM-7:30PM
Where: We will meet via Zoom.
Cost: The class and the Tasting Kit costs $75 plus shipping costs.
(This is entirely the purveyor's cost. The cost for the two cheesemongers/sommeliers is borne by HC-MV. If you wish, you may contribute extra towards this cost.)
Register: For security reasons, this will be a closed meeting for invitees only.
